How our wildlife removal works
01 Inspect
We walk the roofline, attic, foundation, and yard to identify the animal and find every entry point, not just the obvious one.
02 Remove
Trapping, one-way doors, or exclusion, chosen for the species, the season, and Wisconsin wildlife rules.
03 Protect
We seal the openings with durable materials so the next animal can’t use the same way in.
04 Restore
Droppings removal, sanitizing, odor control, and insulation replacement when the damage calls for it.
Wildlife we handle
These are the eight wildlife problems we see most in Wisconsin homes. Not sure what you have? Tell us what you’re seeing or hearing, and the inspection will confirm it.
Raccoons
Signs: heavy thumping at night, torn shingles, soffits, or roof vents, droppings piled in one spot.
Why it matters: they flatten and soil insulation, and their droppings can carry raccoon roundworm.
What we do: remove them, check for young, repair the entry, and cap chimneys if needed.
Squirrels
Signs: scratching overhead around sunrise and sunset, chewed fascia or vent covers, leaves stuffed in gaps.
Why it matters: squirrels chew electrical wiring, which can become a fire hazard.
What we do: one-way removal, then seal the roofline with repairs, GutterLock, and RidgeGuard.
Bats
Signs: dark droppings below eaves or on the attic floor, staining around small gaps, squeaking at dusk.
Why it matters: guano builds up and smells, and bats can carry rabies. Never touch one bare handed.
What we do: bats are protected in Wisconsin, so we use one-way exclusion, timed so young bats aren’t trapped, then seal and clean.
Chipmunks
Signs: small, clean holes with no dirt pile near foundations, patios, steps, or retaining walls.
Why it matters: their tunnels can undermine slabs and walls, and they dig up gardens and bulbs.
What we do: remove them and seal gaps into garages and foundations.
Woodchucks
Signs: a large burrow with a mound of dirt under a deck, shed, porch, or along the foundation.
Why it matters: burrows can weaken footings and slabs and create trip hazards in the yard.
What we do: remove them, then install a buried barrier so they can’t dig back under.
Opossums
Signs: activity under porches, decks, or sheds, raided trash or pet food, a strong odor.
Why it matters: they nest in crawl spaces and garages and leave droppings behind.
What we do: remove them and block access beneath structures.
Nuisance birds
Signs: nests in dryer vents, bath fan vents, soffits, or gutters, droppings on ledges.
Why it matters: nests block vents, which is a fire and moisture risk, and droppings stain and smell.
What we do: clean out nests and droppings, then install vent guards. Most native birds are protected, so we follow the rules for active nests.
Woodpeckers
Signs: holes in wood or cedar siding and trim, loud drumming in spring.
Why it matters: holes let in water and other pests. Insects in the siding are often what draws them.
What we do: woodpeckers are federally protected, so we use deterrents, repair holes, and treat insects if they’re the cause.
Help keep wildlife out
Removal is only half the job. If the opening stays, another animal moves in. Our pest exclusion work is matched to your home, the animal, and the openings we find.
Entry-point sealing
Close gaps at siding, foundations, garage doors, and utility lines with chew-resistant materials.
Soffit & fascia repairs
Close gaps at siding, foundations, garage doors, and utility lines with chew-resistant materials.
Vent protection
Screen roof, dryer, and bath fan vents while keeping airflow.
Ridge-vent protection
RidgeGuard blocks bats and squirrels at the ridge without cutting ventilation.
Deck & shed barriers
Buried mesh barriers keep skunks, woodchucks, and opossums from digging underneath.
One-way exclusion
Animals can leave but not get back in. We seal for good once they’re out.
Additional protection & cleanup
Gutter covers that keep debris out and stop squirrels and birds from using gutters as a highway or nesting spot.
Ridge-vent protection that prevents wildlife entry while letting your attic breathe.
Remove insulation that’s been soiled or flattened and replace it so your attic insulates properly again.
Clean up droppings and nesting material, sanitize the area, and treat lingering odors.

Wildlife removal FAQs
What does a wildlife inspection cost?
Our wildlife inspection is [FREE / $ PRICE]. We confirm the price before we schedule, and after the inspection you get a written estimate that lists every recommended repair and its cost, so there are no surprises.
How do I know which animal I have?
Timing is the best clue. Squirrels are active around sunrise and sunset, raccoons are louder and move at night, and bats come and go at dusk. Burrows with a dirt mound usually mean a woodchuck. The inspection confirms it.
Can bat exclusion happen right away?
Not always. Bats are protected in Wisconsin, and exclusion can’t be done while young bats are too small to fly. We can inspect any time of year, seal the gaps bats aren’t using, and schedule the exclusion for the right window.
Should I trap the animal myself?
We don’t recommend it. Wild animals can bite, scratch, or spray, some carry disease, and Wisconsin has rules on trapping and relocating wildlife. Trapping also doesn’t fix the opening that let it in.
Do you seal openings and clean up?
Yes. We seal entry points, repair soffits and vents, install GutterLock and RidgeGuard, remove droppings, sanitize, treat odors, and replace damaged insulation. Your estimate lists exactly what’s included.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. We explain what we recommend and what it costs, and you choose the services you want. No long-term contract required.
What does the warranty cover?
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If the problem returns within your warranty period, we come back at no extra charge. Your estimate spells out the warranty length and what’s covered.
What areas do you serve?
